Feedback
Working with little idea ourselves of what we wanted, the Doorway team came to the rescue. Patiently squeezing out our likes and dislikes until we finally got the result we were looking for.
Our online presence has now been transformed and since the launch our sales have increased month on month. We cannot thank you enough!

Web shop
A company that is not having their own web shop or better several of them will lose customers and big business in the long run. Even if you sell goods like cars or real estate, the first contact for customers today is the Internet. A web shop is not just a way to make a sale happen over a website, it is most often the business card for a company that creates an experience.
In the end it is still possible that a customer comes to an outlet or a physical store to test drive a car for example. However the trust building to brand or company happens these days much in social interaction and web2.0 sites like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and Forums where people get together and share their experiences, worries and good and bad encounters with corporations.
So building a website with an integrated web shop is surely not enough, while it is certainly the right thing to do and have. People who can't find a shopping cart on a website might wonder how outdated their Internet presence is. A great web shop creates actually a cool "shopping experience" for the customer that often "beats" the real visit. Take a car dealer shop, there you can of course sit in the car and go for a test drive - but on the other hand a website that allows you virtually build your custom car or zoom through the inside electronics is sure something that can't be offered at the local store.
And you do not need to sell your "end product" in your web shop necessarily. So while someone wants to buy a sports car, it might be the right step to "create a following" if a company has a web shop where accessories like key chains or other fan articles are offered.
Also a web shop has to designed in a way that customers can come and go like they want to. Nothing is more annoying to possible customers when they are forced to follow a specific order to explore content on a website. A smart web shop will make a visit to company website an interesting interactive experience that will make a customer to buy their product and services, offline or online.
There are many shopping cart systems and website software that will integrate seamless into the buying and decision process of possible clients. Some smart applications actually even allows live customer chat assistants to push payment gateways along with their support activities to make it easier for customers when they are actually ready to buy while being at their website.
